Several weeks ago I stumbled into a Waldenbooks at the local mall. I was looking for something on the history of the blues. So I asked this cat behind the counter if he could help me out. One thing led to another and we begin to talk about poetry and spoken word. Both share a fondness for the underground hip-hop scene. Learned that he does kick a few verses at a local poetry spot here in Charlotte…a modest admission on his part. The brother got some skills. I thought it appropriate to give this brother a shot out:
